Nitronic 50 – “XM-19”

With the increase in popularity of the mallet style putters I decided to create the Slighter Ninja. The unique design of the Ninja is somewhat different than what I typically build here at Slighter Golf. The Needle was the previous concept putter I created in 2004. The Ninja is offered in 303 Stainless Steel and 1018 Carbon Steel. A limited run of the Ninja was made in Nitronic 50.

Nitronic 50 is a nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless steel that possesses corrosion resistance much superior to all other 300 series stainless steels. Also known as the “Super Alloy”.

Nitronic 50 is an expensive high end luxury stainless steel that will outperform all other 300 series stainless steels and provide the ultimate feel in all temperatures and conditions.

Applications:
Marine – deep sea applications (pumps/robotic arms)
Medical – Heart valves (high resistance to body fluids)
Nuclear - Waste Disposal (fuel recycling)
